Description "According to Chinese legends, New Year first started with a battle against a mythical beast called the Nian. The Nian would come on the first day of New Year to destroy and terrorize. To protect themselves, villagers put food in front of their doors at the beginning of every year as a sacrifice in hopes that it would then leave the household in peace.

Legend has it that the Nian is afraid of the color red, and so the dragon guardian of the village, Ryu, clothed himself in crimson and battled the fierce Nian for the sake of those who believed in him."

Do you have a link/source to that particular version of the story of Nian?

The text is just my interpretation based on researchΒ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nian
I Β took half of the myth and then modified it in order to have a singular hero in the story.

thank you so much You don't need to know the math in order to play with a fractal software. It has even been used as therapy I'll put some recycled info in a note. Hope you don't mind

Got your note, thanks! Will read through it some time

In fact many fractal artists suffer from chronicle math allergy But the algorithms creating "mandel and Julia" type of fractals are very simple Regarding Chaotic series not all articles are of math nature. Articles 10 - 14 deals with how the filaments of the Mandelbrot set are built up

If you hate math, as a punishment you should read this journal *joking* Nothing to do with fractals ..

Anyhow hope you'll get some inspiration
