I COULDN'T THINK OF A GOOD TITLE.Im sorry to all of those who were thinking that this would be a comic.
Anyway, most of you have never seen me draw Maria before, right? So yeah, here's a picture for you.
I liked how this turned out. Her dress...was crappy. I hate drawing dresses. I can never draw them! UGH! But anyway, I really wanted to draw some dramatic picture. And I was thinkin' of Maria at the time so yeah, I drew her.
Oh my god. THIS PICTURE HAS THE WORST BACKGROUND. EVER. I was not very creative here. D: I couldn't think of a good pose either so I just drew...whatever.
I was also partly inspired to draw this because of the Battle Royale manga. That manga made me cry. It's just so powerful, and the expressions drawn in that manga is just so freaking AMAZING. (And the movie's good too, but I prefer the manga) So I wanted to give a powerful expression here. I'm still working on it, so yeah. Forgive me for the messyness, this is just a sketch after all.
WILL PROBABLY SCRAP THIS.

She looks really beautiful! Eventhough video games and their cutscenes rarely move me, I always tear up whenever I see Maria's death. I wish the Sonic X anime didn't freaking censor it in the English Version; the deathscene was even sadder in the original version than in the games.

I think the backround fits.
It sets the mood for the picture. Since the point of the picture is to look dramatic I think that the backround will fit.
