the colored version. It's okay i guess.This is for the 100 themes of art challenge, "eyes"
Based on some stuff i saw in traditional Japanese art. I think i'll be pulling my inspiration from stuff like that for a little while.

It's nice, a good original design!
For some reason this made me think of one of my old favorite games, Chrono cross! Not that its at all like any of the designs, but that had quite a few different looking dragons in it.. god I loved that game..

First off; I love the dragon you've done. I think this is a character you should totally do more of
Something to conisder; I wish the background would maybe hav been a light, perhaps colored pencil piece, and then the ground just the hhint of a shadow in a different color so that it didn't take away from the dragon. The blue and black on one side are a bit distracting.

Thank you!! the background was kinda an accident, if you couldn't tell. I'll probably end up cropping it! I'd love to do more of this character, and I was very pleased with his final turnout. There is a penciled version in my scraps, if you'd like to look at that one

i'm working on it! he's going to be in an idea i'm working on i believe, and he's a dragon god. So once i get a good name for a dragon god, i'll get him one. if you have any suggestions that don't sound too far-fetched, i'd like to hear them! I'm looking for things that mean knowledge.

thank you!! i got the idea from looking at some traditional style japanese monsters, i noticed some had single eyes on their forehead, cyclops style, so i got a little crazy
