The coloring in this piece is very realistic! I'm trying to go into more realistic colors when I'm coloring, because I think some anthro characters look better that way.
Anyway, fantastic job!

I credit it all to taking classes in live figure drawing. It's amazing how much more aware you become to the essential elements of anatomy if you learn from live models in a classroom setting, with an experienced instructor.
As for the colors.. I think I still suck with colors, but I have a pretty firm grasp on value. Drawing with charcoal was a big help in learning.
