People seem to be curious about the title, so I'll give y'all back-story

I'm a sport-biker, myself. To those who are into it the way I am, it's just as geeky of a hobby as PC gaming. We trick out out bikes the way you would your computer, graphics card, etc.
One night last year, some new parts that I had ordered showed up in the mail. My buddies and I had a ride in the mountains planned for the next day. I was excited to try my new parts on that ride, but it was already dark out and the weather was crappy, so I dragged my bike inside and installed the mods in the living room
So, there I was, in my boxers, sipping on a beer, blasting loud music, WORKING ON MY MOTORCYCLE IN THE FFFFING LIVING ROOM when my roommates walked in.
"Dude, you're the worst roommate EVER!"

I just thought it would be more fun to draw this with a fox girl, instead of me

that picture is awesome (I had that happen on my my GN 125, lol Just that time, it was the landlord... Not sure if that was the bad part, or if the guy was like "Hey, trying to get it to start, eh? I know she hates the cold" and just walked back outside, LOL) Nice work!

Heeheehee.. yes I am a huge Ducati fan. I am about to buy another, so I'll have 3 bikes in the garage and still no car

Anyway, yeah. Bikes are really hard to draw, I'm embarrassed to admit how much time I spent on it and it's still loaded with perspective errors. If you take another look at the drawing, you can see I intentionally tilted the perspective on some other things so the errors in the bike wouldn't stick out as much

holy crap 3 .... i only have one but i study so cant afford more atm . cars are slow ... and over rated if you ask me ^^, im a biker my self so its so much fun to see when bikes do apear in drawings . well errors and stuff like that only makes the picture more realistic you can clearly see what it is right . you did great i realy like it ! someday im gona draw my own bike hehehe, we will se how that turns out ..........

Also, if you plan to try and draw a bike, the most important thing (in terms of perspective) is that the wheels are in a position that matches the rest of the bike, as well as the road. If you get that right, you can fudge pretty much everything else.

You can see in mine that I tried to get super-detailed, and then got lazy. (check out the detail in the engine) Also, I didn't want it to stick out too much when I couldn't get the perspective right, so I subdued it into the background.

I only have 2 so-far. I have my Ducati, and a beat up old dirt bike that I got from my neighbor for $500. I ghetto-rigged it into something kind of like a supermoto. I really want a Ducati Hypermotard, but I'm also a broke student so it might be a while. Point is, it's a higher priority than a car.
I rarely carry much more than a couple books and maybe a laptop, so there's really no point in owning a car. I have all the gear I need for myself and a passenger in pretty much any weather condition, so bikes are totally practical for me.

il make sure those wheels gets right il have that in mind when i draw my MT-01 . aaaaah the hypermotard looks just great ! but its expensive , must be hell to just look at them knowing you cant afford it atm -.- , i was in the exact same position a year ago , then i got werry depressed almost on the edge of breaking down . i thought my life cant get worse , so i tok a loan (wich i realy cant afford)bought myself my dream bike who i wanted since i started riding , and it basicly saved my life , thats why i study atm i got my spark of life back ^^ . thats the beauty of biking its so simple to just take a ride and enjoy it you only need one rucksack and a back seat for your girl then your off

I just looked up the MT-01. !700cc.. that's insanity, I'll bet that thing will rip your arms off if you hit the throttle too hard I think a machine like that would pull anybody out of a slump.

And nah, doesn't kill me, I know as soon as I get my hyper, I'll find some other death machine I can't live without. I guess this is how collections get started.

She doesn't seem like a bad roommate to me. XP Spent all her money on that bike instead of furniture and clothing.

There's a certain 'mistiness' to the pic that makes it seem dreamlike. Is that intentional, or a quick of your coloring method?

That was intentional.

It's a fairly simple Photoshop trick, but it's tricky to get it to work right. Done correctly, it would give the picture a "depth of field" like it was a photo taken with a camera at a big F-stop.

Hopefully with more practice, I'll be able to make it more "dreamlike" and less "misty"

Good call. She should switch to a higher weight, it will make the rebound damping a little slower. Easy way to make the bike feel more planted at the front-end
