Oh hey, someone made a damn good Lexi! I've actually been crafting a new backstory for her ever since I hastily squeezed her in to DnD's JBS. The long and short of it is that instead of being scrapped, she was privately auctioned off and rebuilt to standard gauge, her quirks were also sorted out and given a new identity; then, after some steaming tests, was sent to a particular logging line...yes, that one. I'd still like to do something with it even though it's been almost 10 years since I initially wanted to redo that wretched place.I plan to release my own whistle for Lexi soon- I know others have made their own on other sites, but I've had mine laying around since my earlier Trainz days; in recent months I did a little bit of content creation research and experimentation and reworked my old 2-part whistle into a 3-parter, plus renamed it since more than just Rocky and Victor have made use of the famous stock whistle.

Jeez, things really picked up in the Thomas Trainz community ever since Si3D shut down last year. Some people working hard to provide newcomers with the TV series models of the main cast, and others making models of other characters both old and new.
This new generation looks pretty promising! A shame I left a while ago, but my PC is trash, so it's no wonder I did. There's probably more stuff out there I don't even know of!

Oh, there's been a Hell of a lot of new content since the closure of SI3D. Sites have come and gone, and new sites that have cropped up and stuck around have improved by leaps and bounds, becoming more and more notable. Some are still mediocre, and a particular person whom I've had...ahem, issues with seems to have made somewhat of an effort, albeit a botched one, to improve his own content, and actually listened to my feedback surprisingly.
I should save up for a new laptop so I can get TS19. It looks gorgeous.

Yeah. I had a look at some of the sites you linked.
Cog Railway 3D by far has some of the finest works yet. Having the audacity to model characters like Rebecca, Lexi, Bertram and FINALLY a legit Derek model. After all this time. I still have that image of that "Si3D" Derek.

I remember CogRailway3D's early days round this time last year or so. Already they've made leaps and bounds with their content quality; I'm impressed tbh.

And there's still models out there being made left and right. Not just CR3D. MainlandStudios is an example; making models of various CGI characters. Truly stunning, they are.
