Description
Gin and Hotaru from Hotarubi no Mori e by Midorikawa Yuki 's short story.My way to celebrate the adaptation to come ^^ Lov Brains Base studio production and Respect to Morikawa's work!!
Oh and I didn't know what colors are Gin's eyes as we don't see it in the manga so i made them gold.

To bad Gin died it was soooo sad Natsume so this is the story of Ayakashi.

I love the ending... Most people dislike it because Gin faded/died/passed on,
but i think the ending suited it... It shows that nothing, even longliving spirits can last forever.
I personally liked the ending very much because the author did not use a generic happy ending.
If it had been a happy ending, i probably would not have liked it as much.
The manga and short movie was truly beautiful.

Yes I think the same way as you, the ending was beautiful for it was sad,
there were so much feelings in it, I just love this story!

He reminds of Natsume Takashi... Actually, why is this in the Natsume Yuujinchou group?

It's from the same Mangaka Midorikawa Yuki, this short story is named 'Hotarubi no Mori e' and was created before the Natsume Yuujinchou manga.
This group allow to post artwork from the same author, so I posted mine.
