Again you hit a good point, Linda. To me, this is so much a Scottish river image that I cannot easily think of it elsewhere. Yet, you are correct in that rivers and geography like this occur in many places. So, I have succeeded, albeit inadvertently, in creating an image that is not place specific.

Very fine shot and work...sepia tones really works here...I may have to try some sepia work down the road...

I agree - the effect seems to work well on scenes that are already a bit grey. The clouds had a more even tone, but I tweaked them up to give some structure. That's the thing about clouds - often there is more structure in them on grey days than meets the naked eye. Worth experimenting with contrast and structure controls. Yeah - give sepia a try.
