Stunning green head and yellow bill; love the colorful orange webbed foot too; the reflection is perfect! A very pretty picture.

Many thanks, Linda. Male mallards are quite stunning in full plumage. There are very very common here - every ponds and steam has them.

And we have pigeons. (they're okay too in my book; although most think of them as sky rats. lol )

Pigeons and collared doves and magpies are the three common sky rats around here, Linda. Magpies in particular are a problem as they are predators for young birds. Our late cat ginger was partial to pigeon and dove - to keep his paw in so to speak, but there were few magpies in his day. We need him back or another cat like him to out a few of the magpies.

The reflection is quite good, but lucky. There is even a catch light in the reflection of the eye!
