:iconsantaclause: A very Merry Christmas to all Watchers, Friends, Viewers, Favers, and indeed to the whole DA community.:iconsantaclause:
For the last in the current series of photographs from my recent safari in Tanzania, I thought I should send in the birds - some colourful, spectacular, big, small, delightful, dangerous, cunning and simple birds - not to be found in my backyard, but in the wonderful savannah of the National Parks in Northern Tanzania. Almost all of the following were spotted and photographed while on game watches with the indefatigable Alfred the Great, our driver, guide and mentor on safari. My personal thanks once again to his skilful and professional guiding without which our tour would have been so much the poorer.
I'm going to show one or two images of several birds and give some commentary on them. The images were obtained on my Canon

Animals doing stuff are always great shots, even if they may not be as 'arty' as some would like.

Good point. This is a very unusual occurrence and hence the image is unusual, but not that interesting for non wildlife folk.

Many Thanks

David

Nice capture; not only of the different animals together but their looks of interest is intriguing.
