Hiya Daniel - Great to hear from you again! These trains are amazing. Which Islands have the old trains?

Cheers

David

Hi David!!
There are old trains in Sardinia, Sicily and a lot of cities in Italy.
Often the new trains are destroyed by vandals with no respect,
but at other times you can find trains without air conditioned,
with rickety doors, which also employ a time delay (1 hour too )
to reach their destination.

The Italy is like a garden full of rare plants and beautiful,
but not cured as it should.

Sounds like we Brits have been exporting our old trains to you!!! Air-con on UK trains is called a window.

ahahahaha
The technology is not available everywhere, unfortunately.
In Italy for example, is how the islands were a little ... isolated.
Otherwise they would not be ISLANDS!

My pleasure, Robson - the train ride was very smooth. Perhaps you could get seconded to Italy to study their systems?

Cheers

Nearly impossible. They only send the "chosen ones" on these trips!
