You are, of course, quite right to use, when appropriate, various Photoshop filters to bring out details. Β I usually can't stay away from those filters. Β Of course, as you'll agree, with certain textures the details and clarity filters can actually go too far and that sometimes, therefore, it's best to keep the scene softer. Β Here, however, you were right to employ the filters, which can, as you say, be especially useful in bringing out details in such things as clouds!
