Description
After my recent post on Castle KennedyΒ Castle Kennedy Gardens Β in which I misnamed so many flowers, I'm leaving that aspect to others and showing only a set of 5 Pretty Flowers from an Open Garden Day in Spring in Kirkcudbright. In one regard, these images are different from those that I normally post in that I have used the Topaz Textures plug in, which I am currently evaluating< to add a textured layer to the background. Comments on whether this enhances or diminishes the image are welcome.I quite like the optical ambiguity in this shot around the top of the flower. Possibly a blue poppy....?

I think it is this colour that makes these poppies so popular, although I understand they are hard to grow.
