If you check the EXIF data, Oriole, you see that the conditions are perhaps optimum for the lens and camera - ISO 100 - so very little noise; Tv 1/250 sec so no perceptible movement; and Av f/6.3 - more or less the optimum aperture (manufacturers like to go for f/8 as the best, but it varies.)All in all the lens would be at its best. Switching to the big beasts is very costly and not worth it if you produce images like this.
