No, that's the hybrid design that came out of the joint venture between Tau'ri and Kobol. See here:

But as I was modeling the weapon systems and the propulsion nozzles for it, I had no real idea for the right design and experimented with the parts of the other Space Fighters. Just for fun, I attached the Staff Canon of my death glider to this fighter. And that looked really good.

So I changed the concept. Now, the other major powers participate in the joint venture. To what extent this fighter has actually replaced the space fighters we've seen in the series I have not decided yet. But I think he's just a short-term replacement and only in limited numbers.

The features of this fighter are too general. Every nation has its own ideas of the perfect fighter design. And the Quirinus does not fit any of these ideals. For no nation.

Jaffa and Tau'ri prefer two-seated fighters.

For the Ori the armament is too weak.

And for Kobol he is actually too big. Two Quirinus consume the place of Three Vipers, roughly, I think.

As soon as the next crisis is over, the peoples prefer to use the good old models.

 That is one of the cool things about 3d modelling, sometimes you get quite some unexpected results .

 But you cannot deny that it was cool for them all to try a joint venture .... yup, at least they tried .

You are absolutely right with the unexpected results.

The Quirinus Fighter was originally an attempt to create a different Viper version. 

There is a weird bug in Sketchup, at least in my program. For example, I want to extend a model. But strangely, the mouse reacts wrongly and the model gets wider instead.

Something similar happened here. This form was not planned. But if I have them, I can use them too.

I gladly admit that some of my models have been created that way. Accidents, very happy accidents.   

Talented, No not really. Has already meant my art teacher. 

And as for the joint venture. Since you bring me an idea. Wonderful inspiration.  I still have the DeSCa. The Alliance of the United Milky Way, on Goa'uld: Due'tin Schel-mssi-tar Call'naei.

For the most part, something like the United Nations. In the 24th century, the SGC is subject to DeSCa. The Quirinus could also be a collaborative project within DeSCa.  

Then I can let more of my people participate in the project.      Lucian Alliance and the empire of the Majabooto come then to it.    

I have to try it tomorrow morning.

How you helped me? Easy. You asked something.

If you are asked something, you need to think about it to answer that question.

Especially if you want to explain something to the questioner, you also have to take a slightly different standpoint. Then you suddenly come up with completely new perspectives. 

That's the only way I could remember the DeSCa. I neglected this faction a bit.

As long as it helps keep ideas flowing, then cool .

However, I have been asked question about my stories that would reveal too much of important things needed for the plot... there is the need to be careful about spoilers too (depending on the story, obviously).

Hehehehe, I know how that feels .
