My new desktop under manjaroI've just submitted a new extension, something that was really missing under linux (my opinion)
You can know see what's the status of httpd (Apache) and mysqld (Mysql) from the top panel.
You can also change the status directly from there, it is simple, but ver helpful for me..
The icon is on the top right, left to Caffeine.
If Mysql and Apache are active, top and bottom round are full white, if one of them is active, one of the round is full white and no one is full white when no service is active.
It's currently under reviewing by the gnome extension team (I guess)
After you will be allowed to get this little thing
