Description
After Smaug took the Lonely Mountain, the Dwarves of Erebor moved to the Ered Luin to build up a new existence... and I had this story in mind that one of their early settlements was burnt down completely in a thunderstorm after a lighting struck one of their sheds.Many of the Dwarves barely had time to take their most precious possessions with them and Thorin only managed to grab his nephews before he went as one of the last, not even taking his sword with him (Dwalin took care of it though ^^).
So here we have Balin telling his future King to move on, as Thorin takes a last glance back...

Very nice detail in this sketch I love the emotional look on Balin's face and Dwalin's determination seems to come through as well. Kili is adorable and Thorin holds them as if he will never let go. Ered Luin is very much a mystery making your scene quite possible. Well done.
