I was in Mostar years ago.. before the war, when the original bridge was still standing and the people didn't know what will happen in a few years time..

What I like about this, is that unless you know the history of this town, this is just another great pic of a village "somewhere".. but looking back, remembering, the pic gets a different significance Great pic.

Absolutely. The trip I took to Sarajevo and Mostar in 2004 was over 10 years after the Mostar seige, and it taught me how long it took for the physical scars of war to heal. More importantly, I learned about the terrible suffering endured by people caught up in the conflict. It was very sobering. Having said that, the country is well worth visiting and holds good memories for me.
As you say... it looks like just another village.

Great pic though . I was in Tripoli one year before the conflict still taking place, remember it as a wonderful place .
