I have really been thinking about dirigible plums lately, so here is a silly little Luna Lovegood tribute with some silly little watercolors. I enjoyed how the Deathly Hallows film made the "radishes" that Luna so loves a bright Orange and thought it brought some Luna into the Lovegood house the way that they floated, however i missed that the trio didn't get to see her "friends" mural. maybe i'll upload a photomanip of that...

Unfortunately photographs don't do any of my paintings justice, so i might re-upload this when there is some natural light.
5 by 10 inch watercolor on compressed texturized paper, completed in thirty minutes.

Okay, I may be speaking prematurely, but I'm in a newly-created wizard rock band called The Dirigible Plums and this painting is TOTALLY AWESOME and I'm sayin' it would make a great album cover.
We've only rehearsed once and obviously it's your painting and we'd have to ask very very nicely, but...yes just saying. IT'S GORGEOUS.
