I like your kind of unexpectedly over the top comedy but with a simple premise: I WANT TO SLEEP. EVERYBODY SHUT THE #&%$ UP! (Of course, no one shuts up...). Being well drawn helps too. You really should turn these into Manga manuscripts with manuscript paper dimensions and proper paneling (4mm vertical gaps and 1cm horizontal gaps). It'll look pretty awesome. But it's a heck of a lot of work.
