This figure shows a character from the psp game "MediEvil Resurrection", Lord Kardok in his original appeareance.
The sculpture is made of Fimo, for upper parts I mostly used Fimo air. The base is made of clay.
For the skin I used a mix of tissue paper, cotton and glue, painted with watercolours. The rest of fur on the horse body is black wool.

I really like the details. And the fact that he looks exactly like Ressurection. What a nice touch!

such good use of mixed media

may I ask how you textured the stone/base? its so lovely and speckled. I've just finished a sculpt that would love some stone effects

Thank you very much for your kind words!!

I used some dry clay pieces for the base, covered them with aluminium foil. Then I covered the whole thing roughly with air-drying clay and redefined the shape with a spatula. After it I used a crumpled foil and pushed it in the soft clay.

my rocks are already sculpted in sculpey and baked.. so going to need to find some cleaver painting methods i think. hope it ends up looking half as good as yours!

maybe you should do some tutorials on the diffrent texture effects? you obviously used a lot of diffrent techniques on this sculpture

I'm fine, thanks But I'm a bit sad, because I had to return home alone, earlier than Grzegorz (my mom has her birthday tomorrow). The weather was awful, I had a hangover, but people was very nice and funny, although they talked mostly about their studies... The town was also quite charming My pics are not really good, especially on the inside of monastery x/ I'm not talented photographer. I want to add photo with me for my ID, but something is f*cked here and I can't do it ;/

Ti capisco, perchè anche Eli si è meravigliata quando ho messo un disegno del nuovo design di Kardok. Però io ho giocato prima la versione psp, e poi quella per la ps1, per questo disegnio quasi solo nello stile del remake. Spero che non ti dispiace

ho visto da poco il lord Kardok della psp e non so come tu abbia fatto a farlo perbenino perché si muove sempre e non si capisce bene come è fatto... e a vederlo così mi sembra che tu l'abbia fatto mille volte più figo! *w* <3 <3 <3
Per farlo vedere a Eli ho salvato l'immagine in una pennina usb così forse riesco a farglielo vedere se me lo consentono.

Se tu guardi i video della fine di MER su YT che fá vedere anche i titoli di coda, vedrai i disegni di ogni carattere che appare nel gioco, e anche Lord Kardok. Ho usato uno schreenshot di questo disegno per completare la scultura ^^. Grazie dei complimenti solo felice che ti piace cosí tanto!!!
