I never had a problem with Hydraxon, but I do think the Big-Daddy-ish look is fitting, considering how like in Bioshock, the Mahri Nui saga took place in an underwater city full of mutants and mutated cyborgs.

I would post a comment about how awesome this is if it weren't for the images themselves. :/

Two bohrok feet, a gahlok shield, two bohrok eyes, a couple 3x1 technic plates, and those nice little 2x1 technic plates. As a tip, I recommend starting by looking at how you want the pieces to fit together and then use technic pieces to actually make it fit together. Or heck! Maybe friction will hold it in place!

The face doesn't really look that much like Hydraxon's, but still DAM !!!

Yeah, this is more of a revamp, so my goal was to spiritually capture his essence. So when it looked like a cold, vengeful diver in silver armor, it reminded me of him.

Well I can say that you did a really great job with this entire beast and looking more at it, it quite starts to look more like Hydraxon.

Dayum, he looks awesome! I've always felt that Hydraxon's set left a lot to be desired. When he was first introduced in the books, I was expecting some awesome, huge titan, not... what his set was. I had gotten Gadunka prior to him, and it took me half the time to build Hydraxon as it had Gadunka. This MOC, though, really does the character justice.
The only bit of constructive criticism I can think of is, the lower part of his body seems a bit too black. There's a nice amount of silver up top, on his head, shoulders, neck and arms, but from his chest down, he seems to be too plain without the silver added in. The cordak missiles are a nice touch though.

Thanks! Yeah, the color distribution was a bit of a concern for me. I might add in some armored boots or something to balance it out.

I think that would probably solve the color imbalance quite nicely, too.

Oh, don't beat yourselves up, I could say the same for both of you. There is no lesser MOCing or greater MOCing. It's only creativity and, like muscle, it can be exercised.
