Description Not only are seagulls annoying and unattractive birds which pester you when you want to eat fish and chips at the beach, making annoying sounds while surrounding you in wait for any scraps, they are also extremely bad mannered.

Didn't anyone teach them to cover their beak when yawning?

I got about 40 shots of the Seagulls, and in 3 of them one of the gulls had its mouth open wide. This was the best shot

The kit lens is 18-55mm. I have a Sigma 70-300 F4-5.6 lens which I used for this shot. It's a decent lens for the price ($368). Like most glass it performs best when stopped down a bit, but it's not very fast so I might look at upgrading it sometime down the track to something like a 70-200 f/2.8 lens.

I was just watching the birds and noticed them yawning like this occasionally, so I kept my camera on one of them and then took a burst of photos while he was yawning.
