Zevran Cameo, a gift to FenZev.I did Sten with a smile so I wanted to do the ever-grinning Zevran with camera off. Except a guy like Zevran knows that the Camera is never off... the more I drew the more I felt him think. 'I know exactly what you are doing'.

I just saw this and after the game I really like what you said about the "camera being off" and how he knows that it never is. I think you summed up his personality perfectly.

Beautiful glimpse at Zev without his mask. Black and white works great, brings out the moody atmosphere. And those eyes... I love his eyes.

You got his looks very well and they are hard to pinpoint. The moody expression works well on him. You are definitely changing style, it sits somewhere between your usual one and the more cartoonish one you have been experimenting with. It works well. The eyes are getting better and better too.

This was by far the hardest cameo I've made, that's why I had to resort to the style which I am familiar with. The problem is that Zevran is almost to perfect to bring to life properly.

Yes, I have thought of doing him many times (that came out a bit rude but anyway) but his features are oddly bland and hard to capture.

hey, very cool. you chose to do his 'other' side too, without the trademark tattoo. that's always tougher, but it does give him a softer look. it does look like an unguarded moment -- probably very fleeting. ; )
you might want to check about nudging the iris of his right eye (our left) to the right (our right) a bit. i think he's trying to look out of the picture, but that eye is kinda trying to point towards us? see what you think.
also, my inner zevran insists his ear point should be more elegant and raked back. and maybe a tad longer? (that might be his ego talking, on that point : X )

I am not an artist, but I see from all over the internet (including DA2!) that apparently he is a very difficult one to duplicate. You are probably the closest I have seen in a long time...LOVE IT!!!
