Description Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo, Mäusebussard) and Carrion Crow (Corvus corone corone, Aaskrähe)

The crow kept following this buzzard for a while, sometimes getting very close to it. Apparently the carrion crow was either waiting for the buzzard to catch some prey, i.e. one of the many bank voles in this place, or trying to scare it off. Buzzards are specialized hunters of small mammals and as such don't have particularly effective strategies for dealing with other birds (except retreating and trying their luck elsewhere).
