Description
Since its new years, I tried drawing something that doesn't belong to any series/games/anime, and drew my own original art for once.
This piece is based on a dream I had during 12-15-2014, it was one of the most heart-warming and heart-breaking things that I have ever dreamn't, and making this the first emotional piece I've drawn.

Synopsis on what happened in the dream:
A man, around his 30s, sitting with his hands covering his face on his desk, thinking back to what the doctor said: "She only has a year left to live... I am very sorry..."
Then came in his daughter (the girl you see in the pic), seeing the state he's in and managing to walk her way towards her father and hug his leg with whats left of her arms.
"Don't worry Papa, I'm still here for you~" she said.
The father noticed, and in response, he rubs his eyes and picked up his child by her armpits, making her giggle a bit despite the sad look on his face.
"Heey~ I may look small now, Papa, but I'm still eleven and a half!" she said, making a cute little pout.
This made the father smile a gentle smile, but at the same time, lost for words, seeing how she acts as if nothing has happened to her at all, and her limbs taken away from her.
"Papa will do everything in his power to make you happy..." he whispered as he brings his child in for a fatherly embrace, "I promise... I promise..."
"But Papa~" she interrupted, and used her stubbed arms to break the hug and looked her father in the eye. "Papa is everything that makes me happy~", she said, with a beaming smile.
This made the father break into tears, and start sobbing quietly, and in return, his child returns the hug, with her head snuggled against his chest.

The scene then cuts to the girl receiving an eye transplant, and gained artificial arms and legs, with both her and her father playing in the meadows, celebrating and picnicking. Then it cuts off to them doing daily routines, such as housework, cooking and even shopping, with the girl assisting her father with her new arms.

And then, the scenes fade and cut to the girl in bed, with the father stroking her hair on one side, and some health-monitoring equipment on the other.
The girl faced her father and said "Thanks for the happiness, Papa..."
The father smiled with the best he can. "You're welcome sweetie..." he said, with a tear in his eye.
Then girl returned the smile and let out a weak giggle, and quietly says: "I'm going to sleep now...", and slowly closed her eyes.
