To be perfectly honest... a lot of the kids at Hogwarts may be smarter, but I doubt they'd be as tough. When Voldy besieged Hogwarts, the majority of students (besides seniors) simply took refuge. ANYBODY going to CHB is going there to learn how to fight, and they're not pushovers. The fact their half god also helps.
Hell, the most dangerous regular game Hogwarts has is Quiditch (or some spelling). CHB has capture the flag matches with actual swords, monsters in the woods (monsters INTENDED to be fought, unlike the creatures of the Dark Forest), a climbing wall that spits out LAVA, and other things. Oh, and it has Ares cabin. Slytherin was like Ares cabin ONLY in that no one liked them. Unlike Slytherin though, the Ares kids actually back up their boasts... by kicking the ass of everyone and everything for the hell of it. They're in no way cowardly.
And I have no idea why I wrote all that.

I was more pointing out the fact that Demigods are tougher than Wizards and Witches, and it shows in camp facilities. Not necessarily which place is better to go to. You're more likely to die going to CHB, and that's by virtue of being a Demigod, not counting the camp facilities.

Maybe. If you go though, that means you have to be a demigod. I wonder if they're more powerful than wizard kids? Wizards have quite the arsenal of spells at their command, but few can really do anything more than motioning magical objects to do things without their wands. Demigods on the other hand, if they have access to magic, can cast it without wands, and for children of the Big Three, they're pretty much capable of doing more with their element than the most powerful wizards could. And, Demigods are tough; they lose their weapons, they'll still fight tooth and knuckle if they have to, and they're more adept at hand-to-hand combat and physical combat than most wizards, also thanks to enhanced reflexes.

Well, that'd be an interesting fic idea. Child of Hecate gets enrolled at Hogwarts. Completely sucks at magic. In a fit of anger loses their wand, and unleashes their true power.
