This picture was taken nearly a year ago during the Leonid meteor shower. My girlfriend came outside with me to watch the meteors when she pointed out something strange in the sky. I turned to the south to see what looked like a constellation of orange stars flying from west to east. It kind of stunned me at first, but I grabbed my camera and took a shot as quickly as possible. This was a 30 sec. exposure of the things moving across the sky, all interchanging positions, weaving through each other. I tried to take another shot of them around the corner of the apartment but the light pollution ruined any view of them. It was a very strange occurrence and I'm not too sure what to think of it, that's why I haven't submitted it yet. Anyways, I'd like to hear what anyone has to say about it. Thankslarger size: [link]

Obviously not satellites, birds, or a conventional aircraft (unless they were suicidal/insane). This is strange, indeed.
Where was it taken? Any way you can enhance the trails for a better view?

it was taken right outside my apartment, i live in ontario. i've tried to darken the sky to show the trails better but the way it is is about the best i can get it.

could be a popular orbit route for navigation satellites? or maybe some rare natural phenomena that happens at leonids time?
