Feathers from an angels wings
Photogram.
I took a piece of black and white light sensitive paper in the darkroom and layed some feathers on it, flipped the light on for about 3 seconds to expose it, hand developed it, and here you go.

are you familiar with man ray and his rayographs? i've done things like that with my hands and leaves i've found, among many many other things... dark room leaves so much more room for experimentation, digital really killed it.

Somewhat. They look/are kind of like photograms, right? I never could tell a difference 
and you are right. I shoot digital on occasion because I'm somewhat broke and don't always have a ride down to the film lab. Whenever I get a chance to shoot film though I do. If I had access to an enlarger or a daylab or something it would be amazing. I have all sorts of ideas I want to try out but no access to the stuff I need.

did i comment on this yet or just glare in envy and fave it? i really love the title as much as the feather themselves...and the style you present them. i cant stand it. if i had any photograph talent i would want it to be like yours. everything you make is so open to interpretation and i love that.

the sad thing is that my watchers usually have far more interpretations of my work than me

I remember doing these....I had a bunch of little tabasco sauce bottles and placed them to make it look like it was falling over.
