She met my parents for the first time that night. I don't know why I was so nervous leading up to it, of course they were going to love her.. She's amazing.
It was so easy and relaxed, like, she was already part of the family.
After dinner, when we were preparing to leave, we notice it had been snowing the whole evening. There was no way I was driving home.
Without any warning she ran out into the snow like a child pretending to be a Disney princess. Needless to say, she got me to walk her home. I'm so glad we did.
The whole time we walked I kept repeating "I love her" in my head, over and over. .. It was almost like she had read my mind when she turn to kiss me and replied "I love you too".
Is it too cliché to say Christmas is a magical time of the year?.. Probably.. But that night was, for sure.
