Description Iā€™m not much of a street photographer, but I see why some people are.
This man was waiting for a vacant taxi near Time square in NYC.
Luckily he stood still enough for me to capture him relatively crisp at 1/15.

Canon EOS 5D | 16-35L @ 35mm

Black + White conversion via ACR
Noise and contrast reminds me of an oldschool rangefinder shot.
Hope you like.

noise??? hah. i would have cranked up the sensitivity to give it more grit if i was you. how do the canons break up in high ISOs??? [when its desired]

Thinking back, higher iso would have been an awesome idea.
Canon is extrememly clean @ high ISO.

Yea, ive noticed ... But dont you think sometimes its desireable??? Im not pimping a product, but you may be interested in [link] since i guess its trickey for you to get some nice noise. But hey, i wouldent mind shooting @ 1600 and getting frames as fine as yours. Lets hope nikons D3's will be following in Canons footsteps...

Awesome tagline by the way.

Wow thanks for that grain plugin link. That actually looks quite cool!
I'll let you know if i decide to purchase it in the future.
As for now, i have an obsession with clean frames, but I'm sure you know that.

Beautiful capture! There does look like there is a bit of a blur, but that almost seems to work with the overall feel of the image. I love the position of the man in the frame, and that fact that you can see the moon peeking through the clouds towards the top of the photo. Great job!

Thank you!
There is a slight bit of motion blur but I've leanred to deal with it for this image.
It just makes me feel so good inside!
