I like them, they're cute without being overly so. I really like the purple haired ones ears. *loves big/weird ears*
Also I enjoy the fact that they have body and aren't just a squiggle under a big giant head. I have wanted to try chibis but the whole neck thing throws me off. I can never find a good way to connect it, maybe after some more normal anatomy practice I can play with chibis, but anyway...great job. ^^

I hope you find your style of chibi sometime, it took me quite sometime before i found this style of them and fell in love. I really hated the "squiggly body" bit as well.

It's just that sometimes it's a little intimidating. You're one of my favorite artists on DA and I'm always so excited when a picture pops up in my deviantwatch.
It'll come to me eventually, but I'm trying to focus my sights on realistic anatomy before stylizing it. So hard, but seeing all the improvement memes has helped me realize that as I continue to practice I can improve. It's the artists I watch like you that makes me realize it's not all about anime style. =]

Can I ask how you get your picture to scan so clearly? All my pictures turn out blotchy when I scan them D:

It has to do with the settings you have on your scanner and how good it is. Check the scan program for gamma and threshold and such and start moving them around to set your scanner.
I am not sure how else to explain, it's different in different scanners.
