Picture made for ImagineFX magazine workshop, issue #32 This time Im showing how to paint scenes in full sunlight, all with 30+ screenshot from production and few useful tips :] Hope you gonna like itImage was done by hand in Photoshop, few references used but nothing significant.

I really like the jusxtaposition of the dragon and fantasy armor with the ruined structures in the background. Kinda like Pern with the implication of a formerly more advanced society (if I remember right), but more "hard."

A great picture with a good speaking name.
i've seen this picture at first in the book "digital art masters" published from 3DTotal.com. There the print is much darker, so that from the figures in the foreground you can only sense the clothes and armor on the back. I find this has given the picture much more feeling than this version.

This is really awesome stuff! Inspired from How to train a dragon? hahaha I love it, except I'd wish that certain elements in the background or foreground is blurred a little coz right now everything is pretty sharp and since everything looks so awesome I don't know what to focus onXD

The dragon looks so *heavy*! Seriously, so much weight! I feel a bit squished just looking at it =\ I like how it's clear that it can barely be restrained -- is in fact in the process of breaking free; adds a great tension and anticipation.
The title makes me freak out a bit, little kid going up against that giant dragon? Eek.
The only (tiny, tiny) thing I noticed was the top edge of the dragon's left wing (on our right) looks a little too cut-out against the rock.
Thoroughly engrossing and engaging picture, absolutely gorgeous.
