With my platoon companions I made the jokes about Mardin city, that life in this city is almost like the movie "Cidade de Deus" (City of God)
Past times...
Mardin is a city in southeastern Turkey. The capital of Mardin Province, it is known for its Arabic-like architecture, and for its strategic location on a rocky mountain overlooking the plains of northern Syria.
The city was added to a tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
