you are definitely getting better with each one. This one is no exception. I love the horns and the tail. Great movement. I would love to see the wings folded up to keep with his relaxed pose.

I'm going to try for that but its hard to get the membrane to look right (I only have a hand roller and not the pasta machine that most people use) any suggestions?

Right, I'm actually sculpting wings right now, and I sculpted the spine part of the wings around wire first and baked them, then added the membrane after. It gave me a more solid surface to work from.

Ah thats a good idea, how long are you going to bake the membrane for afterwards?

yes! Once I have it as thin as I want it, it will only take minutes to bake as well. I've been experimenting with doing the membrane out of built up layers of latex as well, to really give it that translucent stretchy look.

i think the base should be a little round mirror or something aquatic look with a sea green color to make the blue pop
