XDDD;; I have drawn SO many fan mews. My brother and I counted yesterday and (counting the original seven characters) I've drawn 33 different mews. Ribbon Candy will be my 34th.
And, assuming that I spend around three hours on each picture, that's several straight days. O_o I need a new hobby.Anyway, this is my entry for ~Akayuki101 's 'draw my character' contest. I'm pretty sure it ends on the 20th, but she doesn't have any entries yet! So, if you have some free time, you should totally enter! ^^ She has some really cute art.
This is her character, Mew Cocoplum, by the way. A cocoplum is a real fruit, yellow with light red parts. It looks like this: [link]
Akayuki actually hadn't decided on colors for her yet because the original drawing was a sketch ([link] ) so I decided to make them up. It wasn't necessary to make them look like cocoplum colors, but I decided to anyway. XD And Akayuki mentioned that she imagined her in red, so it was nice cocoplums are partly red.
I'm pretty happy with how this came out, but it's nothing special. I like the hair and eyes, but her right foot and the lazy background could use work. I'd love some feedback!
