Aggressive, headstrong, very arrogant, Rockshot is a loner and a really huge jerk. His weapon of choice tends to be insults rather than physical attacks and he is quick to insult you and build up his own ego in one master stroke. His cocky nature, no matter how annoying, is actually something that comes natural to him, and he has no idea he’s doing it. When it comes to dealing with his abrasiveness, sometimes it’s just better to ignore it, although to be honest, it can probably get pretty hard to ignore when he’s so in your face about it.
All things considered, he’s quite a bully, but he can’t stand anyone other than himself being the bully. No one messes with the people he cares about, although the people he actually does care about can be a difficult distinction to make considering the typhlosion doesn’t exactly give praise or is even particularly nice to anyone.
He lost an eye to a pack of meowth lead by a rogue Persian when he was just a cyndaquil and he swore to become the strongest typhlosion ever just to avenge his single loss when he was so young. Despite being severely hurt and left for dead, he kept himself alive just to prove the point that nothing could possibly hurt him. He makes up for his lack of sight in one eye with a strong sense of hearing. despite how this sounds, he does not openly speak about his past failures, which means if you really must know why he lost his eye, refer to Matthew 5:29
Until he evolved into a quilava, his battle style consisted of tearing up a pokemon not until it was knocked out, but until he almost killed them. His temper would flare out of control to the point his first few battles ran him until he was ragged and his opponent nearly turned to ashes from the heat of his flames.
he is not considered an active member of the ranch, very much like Flavius, Octavius, Cassius, Cressida, and Mionette. However, he has made a home for himself in the swamps for the time being and as of now, he is part of The Singing Sea's roster.
His constant drifting might have something to do with the fact that he has actually killed another pokemon in battle. When his temper works him up enough, he can fly into a blind rage, triggering his flash fire ability and enabling him to use the move eruption, which devastates everything around him. After unwittingly murdering another pokemon once his temper was triggered, Rockshot was forced to stop and reflect on what he really wanted from his battling skills. His power was far too strong than even he knew, and that knowledge drove him into retirement. It is for this reason he will not challenge other pokemon to battle and likewise will abstain from battles unless he’s worked up enough or confronted into one. However, if he’s attacked, he will defend himself.
Despite his harsh nature, Elvis Presley is his favourite artist and he is very talented at playing the guitar. His favourite song is Heartbreak Hotel. He probably seems deeper to the ladies because of his love of Elvis, particularly because of his favourite song; believe me when I say the only heartbreak he has ever suffered is a brief moment of thinking he may not be as cool or as strong as he thinks he is.
Being a fire type, he has a terrible temper and if something upsets him enough to trigger it, his fire abilities can spiral out of control. He has known the move eruption since he was hatched and when his anger explodes; it becomes apparent from the flames on his back. As far as what actually scares him, this is unknown as he keeps any form of weakness to himself. He doesn’t particularly care for being cold or the prospect of being cold, if that’s a weakness.
He has a bad habit of giving others somewhat degrading nicknames.
He is immune to your ho’s desu. He’s a douchebag. Get over it.
he has a short attention span and loses interest in things very easily, which is why he has such a hard time enjoying the company of most women for very long, hence his love-em-and-leave-em personality. He finds himself to be god’s gift to women and feels that gift is better spread around rather than kept to a single woman. Yeah. He’s that kind of an ass. He’s also quite the homophobe, though he’s not fond of vocalizing it since apparently all of his so-called friends are turning out gay. Regardless, he really is not fond of gays and is quick to point it out.
he is strangely good around kids and has a weird affinity for them. anyone young and bold enough to approach him will likely receive a relatively warm reception. well. as warm as Rockshot can be; he's still a dick. << just slightly less of one around younger pokemon.
he has a love/hate relationship with Eledumare in that he finds her to be his one "true" opponent. At least once a week, he is known to follow her and call her out for a battle despite the fact he has never won against her. Ele herself finds him to be quite a pest.
he smokes like a chimney. it's unknown where he keeps getting them.
while his temper isn't quite as volatile as his previous forms, he still pretty dangerous when pushed too far. after having to reevaluate the way he battles, he's started to grow more distant and tends to isolate himself quite a lot.
He and Flavius are old acquaintances prior to moving to The Singing Sea. It was quite a coincidence they both ended up on the same ranch. it's a small world after alllll
in yet another odd stretch, the two of them make a really good team. with Flavius' attention to detail and Rockshot's overwhelming power, there isn't much one can do against them when it comes to hunting and gathering.
