I've had this idea since I last watched the 1st Harry Potter movie again. I think Schoen and my mom and I were watching it maybe? Or anyway, it was after Dumbledore was outed, so I wanted an excuse to draw him, and it was the scene with Harry in the hospital wing with the candy. He 'was so unfortunate in his youth to have run across a vomit-flavored one.' Well, Dumbledore in his youth, especially now, only brings to mind the time with Grindelwald, and I figured Grindelwald'd find it hella hilarious if his friend suddenly choked on a spew-flavored bean. Thus, the picture.

It was so hard to find reference for a nauseous face. I ended up making up most of it. Also, I notice now that their feet aren't quite on the same plane. Woops. Also, I feel it should have a background, but once again I fall inadequate to the task.

I love drawing Gellert Grindelwald's hair. ^__^ It's so pretty and curly. Dumbledore's hair is fun, too, because one so rarely remembers that it actually once was that color. I spent way too much thought on what Dumbledore would be wearing, I actually read through pretty much all of Wikipedia's history of fashion articles, and eventually came to something like this, attempting to reconcile wizarding and Victorian fashion. It failed. Oh well, I really like the way it turned out. His waistcoat is so pretty, and I liked working with the bright colors (the only guy who wears more color than Dumbledore is Gilderoy Lockheart). The only thing I knew for certain what it looked like were Dumbledore's shoes. Slightly high-heeled pointy boots, that's what I always thought Dumbledore'd wear.

(Also, you probably can't see it, but I did write "Bertie Bott's" on the box.)
