I did this last school year in Art 1. We had to pick something that inspirees us. Then draw and color an abstract drawing of it.
I picked music. The colors represent the different moods and types of music, and the movement of the color like waves represent how music makes you move. The black and white checked board design represents a dance floor. There are rain drops because people listen to music while it rains. I also drew the sound bars that you see on boom boxes(the green bars) and some music notes.
