Mm hm. Always wondered how he magically whipped up an evil Armor of the Torrent, though; did they ever explain that, or was it just for plot convenience?

Plot convenience. YST/RW has plotholes you could drive a truck through. It's not one of the show's strong points.

I've always wanted to do my own YST/RW with less plotholes and less Ryo, personally. XD

Awww, little Naaza *cries* its okay!
Anyway Love the pick the ideal is sad, but Naaza is very cute. I once wrote a fiction about his youth and I'm very amused that you have the same perception of his childhood that I did (though details might vary) I might have go back and finish it now (Da** you and your inspiring work!)
Naaza was always a secret favorite of mine (secret because my friends used to say you couldn't have a bad guy as a favorite character.) I really like how you tend to draw him ^-^

You couldn't have a...what?! Oh heck no! Bad guys are perfectly fair game for fangirling! Or fanboying for that matter.
And glad I could be an inspiration...I say you finish that fic! Finish it!

I like the cobra shadow, and the whole drawing has strong composition. It's a teeny bit of a shame that there's a white edge on Naaza's clothing and the bottom of the shadow, because that makes the background look a bit more separate than I'm guessing you intended. Nonetheless, it's still really good, like it a lot!

Yeah, that's the problem with the method I'm using. When I lived in New Mexico, when I wanted to watercolor, I could mask off parts using tape, then color the background, remove the tape, and all was well. Here in Houston, this doesn't work, I'm guessing because of the humidity. The paint seeps under the tape in ways it never did in NM, ruining the picture. I've also tried using liquid frisket, but the problem with THAT is that it pulls up the ink lines, destroying the detail. So what I've had to resort to is actually cutting out the picture with an Exacto knife, which sometimes leaves slight white edges (or, conversely, cuts too deep into a line, making it look wobbly) and then pasting it onto the watercolor background. It doesn't look as nice as I'd like it to, but until I arrive at a better solution, well... ^_^()
