Description
Two orphaned heroes, and two of the best martial artists that their respected franchises has to offer, are about to clash in a fight to the death.I do not own either characters.

But in all due seriousness Ryu probably takes this unless Batman has gadgets that are given to him to sneak in a win;
Ryu has the strength & durability advantage via his own feats + scaling. And he also has his hax and amps like the Satsui no Hado and such
Normally Batman would have other advantages that can help put down Ryu, like speed, likely better hand to hand skills, and certain durability bypassing toxins or other gadgets. However
1) Speed is debatable as an advantage at best.

In SF Alpha 3, M.Bison has his Psycho Drive base shoot a beam of energy (the beam of energy was harvested from Ryu's body) and launches it into his Psycho Drive Satellite. The beam then fires down on to a random city and blows that shit up. We're just gonna get the speed for it.
Protoguy already did this but he committed blog Seppuku so yeah.

The beam basically reaches the satellite in 3 seconds. To be safe we're going with the low end distance like always.

Well...both are in peak physical condition. But in fighting skills, Bruce Wayne/Batman has mastered ~127 martial arts disciplines while Ryu has a discipline Bats doesn't know I believe. However, Ryu IS able to however project a form of energy blasts compared to numerous gadgets. I'm still undecided.

Well, considering that Batman is one of the few, if not only people who're capable of dodging Darkseid's Omega Beams, to which even the likes of Superman has had trouble dodging them, and still does, (which I should also mention that Darkseid was even impressed that Batman managed to dodge them,) I think Batman could dodge Ryu's Hadokens and their upgraded forms.

I don't count that. 'Cause I feel that is a Batman centered elseworld story. In all actuality, if Darksied were to strike batman, whatever part that is hit would be shattered. Heck, the Omega Beams would bore a hole through Batsy. Batsy has even became a partial meme with his whole "BECAUSE I'M BATMAN" shenanigans.
BUT, however... Ryu does have a particularly dark card with a destructive conclusion.

Still though Death Battle did use that feat of Batman dodging Darkseid's Omega Beams before. And if they acknowledged that feat, I'm guessing they would mention that feat again, if Batman and Ryu were to ever fight.

Depends on whether or not they got their sources right. Ones like the Thor vs. Wonder Woman, both fights of Goku vs. Superman, Tracer vs. Scout, Yang vs. Tifa, Luigi vs. Tail, Bowser vs. Ganon, Peach vs. Zelda, Pikachu vs. Blanka, The TMNT Battle Royale, Mario vs. Sonic, Starscream vs. RD, Ivy vs. Orchid, Gaara vs. Toph, Guts vs. Nightmare, Wolverine vs. Raiden, Ken vs. Terry, and Lara vs. Nathan, are the ones I don't agree with, while the others I do agree with.

In which some sources THEY pull up that invalid and have a team that under-research many combatants AND cause misconceptions. Such as Hulk v Doomsday. Whereby they said that Hulk was in his World Breaker stage against Sentry, he was NOT there yet, it was still W.W. Hulk that fought Sentry. And the whole poisoning thing... Hulk overwhelmed a toxin that held a standing as one of the deadliest toxins in the universe due to it becoming stronger the more the host resisted. As for decapitation, Hulk has even survived that as well.

Batman gets stomped unless he gets Hellbat Armor and Justice Buster to curbstomp Ryu. But Asura's Wrath Ryu can beat that armors and Green Lantern Batman can beat Asura's Wrath Ryu.
