Description DC vs. Marvel. Two tragic scientists turned supervillains, who were physically altered thanks to a science experiment gone wrong, and now are currently on a path of revenge, are about to clash in a fight to the death.

I do not own either characters.

I actually say Freeze could take this fight.

Dr. Octopus would win because he has close range capabilities and more mobility with the 4 tentacles. While Mr. Freeze has no fighting experience.

No fighting experience you say? And yet, Mr. Freeze is able to hold his own against the likes of Batman, and even overpowered him on a couple of occasions. Not to mention, Freeze is able to learn from his mistakes, and adapt his fighting methods, so that he won't fall for the same trick twice.

Sure he's slow, thanks to that suit of his, but he is shown to be a formidable foe. And hell, if we were to include how he plays in Injustice 2, (which yes, I'm fully aware that he's a reskin of Captain Cold,) he is shown to be a capable fighter in a one-on-one fight.

Maybe Doc Ock can defeat Mr. Freeze because he has once beat Iron Man by tearing his armor apart with his adamantium made tentacles, so there's a chance he'll do the same with Freeze.

Unless those metal arms can resist sub-freezing temperatures, Doc Oc can keep his distance and let his tentacles do the work for him.

The only way I can see Oc losing is if his arrogance gets in the way. His arms are more than powerful enough to match Mr Freeze from a safe distance and have shown that they could hold up to Freeze's sub-zero temperatures.

In an actual story driven battle I'd say doc oc would definitely win but in a death battle I think freeze would just ice him and call it a day

Not if the starting distance is such that Otto can tear Freeze apart with his arms before Freeze can shoot him, which is quite likely given how those arms are fast enough to trade blows with Spider-Man. Doc Ock wins no matter wha unless there's an absurd starting distance between them.

whats stopping freeze from icing the tendrils? they're durable but not everything proof being covered in ice will definitely hinder them, you're assuming theyre going to be at eachother's throats from the first second and thats not how a death battle works, theres an exchange, a size up before they decide "this guy ticks me off im gonna end him"

...no, not always. And again, starting distance. To your first question, Otto's arms are faster, so if there's not a massive starting distance, Otto will tear Freeze apart with his arms before Freeze even realizes what's happening. Again, those arms have kept pace with Spider-Man, as well as reacted to bullets. That's both good speed AND good reflexes. My stance is unchanged. If there's a small starting distance, than Otto wins. If there's a big starting distance, than Freeze wins.
