Chicken Hut sounds like a new fast food place.

Thing is Baba was never an evil witch, maybe not good exactly but she wasn't the "I'm gonna eat your kids" kind. In fact more often she was rather helpful. The only times she was straight up evil was in the old Quest for Glory games.
"Turn your back to the forest and your front to me".
QG:"House of Brown...now sit down."

Well, from what I've read, she's not totally good nor totally evil. From what I've gleamed from studying her online, Baba Yaga's more of a force of nature; she's powerful and wild, and she'll kill you if you're not careful, but if you respect her and listen to her, she might help you, or at the very least leave you alone.

Love that spooky window eye, you don't often see the hut interpreted as a whole chicken. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen that at all.

Do we get to see the comb that turns into a forest and the hand mirror that turns into a lake?

Ok, here we go:
A young girl is taking a basket of jam, bread, and meat to her grandmother’s house in the woods. She loses her way and comes across a gate. She opens it but it screeches loudly.
“Oh you poor gate!” She says. Using the jam from her basket, she oils the hinges of the gate until it moves without making noise.
She goes through the gate to find a hut that stands on chicken feet. Suddenly a dog approaches her and starts growling. She notices that it looks very hungry so she gives him the bread in her basket. “Thank you!” Says the dog. “Here, take this comb. If you’re ever in trouble, throw it behind you.”
She takes the comb, puts it into her basket and investigates the hut. On the porch is a cat that begins to hiss at her. Noticing that it also looks hungry, she gives her the meat from her basket. “Thank you!” Says the cat. “Here, take this hand-mirror. If you’re ever in trouble, throw it behind you.”
The girl puts the mirror in her basket and checks behind the house. There, she is spotted by a hideous witch who grabs her. “You shall make a wonderful dinner!” The witch says as she drags the girl into the hut. “But you are much too dirty! Go and wash up!” The witch shoves her into a bathroom with a tub and shuts the door; but not before the cat sneaks in.
“Quick! Escape through the window! I’ll distract the witch!” The girl then climbs out the window, runs past the gate and into the woods.
“Are you washing up?” The witch calls through the door. “Yes.” Says the cat. The witch comes back later and says, “Aren’t you done yet?!” “No.” Calls the cat. “Well I’m tired of waiting!” The witch opens the door and screams in rage when she finds that the girl was gone.
“Why did you help her escape?!” The witch demands of the cat. “Because, she fed me when I was hungry when you never did.” Replies the cat.
The witch runs out of the house and see the dog lying there. “Why didn’t you attack the girl as she ran by?!” “Because, she fed me when I was hungry when you never did.” Says the dog
The witch runs to the gate and kicks it. “You stupid gate! Why didn’t you lock yourself to stop the girl?!” “Because, she oiled my squeaky hinges when you would not.” Screaming again, the witch ran off after the girl.
Thanks to the witch’s long and bony legs, she is able to catch up to the girl. Remembering the gifts she received, the girl grabs the hand-mirror and drops it behind her. The mirror turned into a vast lake. The witch could not around it nor could she swim across it. So she runs back to her hut, grabs her bathtub, and then paddles across the lake.
She soon catches up to the girl who then throws the comb behind her. The comb turns into a line of tall, closely-spaced trees. The witch could not climb them as they were too tall, she could not go through them as they were too close together, and she could not dig under them as the roots went too deep. Screaming in defeat, the witch returns to her hut.
The girl races home to the loving embrace of her mother, who scolds her for being to curious. They all lived Happily Ever After!
The End!

Lovely! Reminds me of a similar tale I read long ago that I can't remember- something involving a girl who found a farm full of talking animals who gave her specific instructions, and after she did them she got a basket of eggs, and when she threw them as she walked away they turned into piles of gold. But her mean and selfish sister went to the same farm, did all the chores wrong out of laziness, and when she threw the eggs she got they turned into swarms of hornets.

Y'know now that I think about it, Howl's Moving Castle has a lot of Baba Yaga-esque elements- a fantastical house that walks on chicken legs, a powerful, free-spirited magic-user who lives in said house and has several magical beings working for them. Though it's funny that the role of the "wise old lady" and the "young, headstrong warrior" are switched around in Sophie and Howl's place.
