Description Devil Bird of Hypocrisy

The offspring of a Greed and a Sloth, Deceitweet may appear to have two "faces", but both are connected to a single brain, each one controlled by the opposite lobe. The psychic field it projects causes those unable to resist it to perceive things as their exact opposites- colors become negative, dark shadows become blinging glares, soft noises become deafening roars, and so on. Prolonged exposure can cause a permanent reversal of all the senses, where up goes down, hard looks soft, hot feels cold, and piles of excrement look like yummy candy. Many victims at this stage can be found desperately clinging to the ground, frightened by delusions that they will fall up into the orange sky above.

Not having a leg to stand on, Deceitweet constantly flies and hovers around with its wings, which flap out of sync with each other. Its head constantly sways back and forth like a pendulum, but what appears to be a razor-sharp beak is actually as soft as foam rubber.

I was inspired by 's Devil Bird series, and wanted to make up my own. I also wanted an excuse to draw with traditional pen and pencil again. Now if I could only figure out how to scan them without making them look so shitty.

Great concept! It positively reeks of the weirdness (even by Mortasheen standards) of devilbirds.
