I had a brief obsession with Dungeons and Dragons' beholder monsters, and decided to try making my own as a one-hour speedpainting exercise.This one was the most fun; and the one I'm most proud of.

The "Really, Really Old" beholder. Engages in combat almost exclusively on a territorial basis while screeching about its lawn. When observed in secret, the specimen expresses constant displeasure that its spawn and neighbors never visit.
