I think you could have added more back lighting from the fireworks and made him look more like it was night time. (more blue or purple hue).

Yes, I know exactly what you mean! I was going to add a purple hue, but I've been very nervous about whether it will appear light on my computer's screen, but then appear dark on everyone elses ; A ; (It's kinda old - n -) I'll be sure to test it so maybe I can add an edited version C:
