Edit 8/16/18: Oddly enough, they both sold at BronyCon, but separately! Their new owners seemed thrilled, and I hope they continue to bring joy

"I want to make some anthro plushies! Wouldn't it be fun to do the Hearth's Warming outfit versions?"
60+ hours later...
I have to say, though, these anthro plushies are a lot of fun. The pattern is a guaranteed winner (yes, I'm plugging the Plush 'n' Bulbs pattern again ), and since it's anthropomorphic I can use my costuming experience on the clothing and accessories.
Fun fact: Octavia is about 1.5" taller than Vinyl, despite being cut from the exact same pattern at the exact same scale. How is that possible? Stretch! Minky stretches, and while Vinyl is stuffed pretty firmly, Octavia has a little bit more give to her, which means she's also more prone to bending and twisting. Fortunately, she can be flexed right back into shape.
The nitty-gritty:
Vinyl Scratch is 15" tall from hoof to top of mane; her horn and ears are a touch taller. Octavia is 16" tall from hoof to top of mane; 17.5" including hat. The bodies, manes, and tails of both plushies are made from minky fabric, with felt appliqué cutie marks and eyes.
Vinyl's vest is off-white and eggplant minky, decorated with black ribbon and an actual button at the top. It is closed by two hook-and-eye closures, and is therefore removable. The glasses are doll glasses with coloured vellum for lenses, and stay in place by force of tension alone; they are also removable.
Octavia's hat is dark purple felt, decorated with white and pink ribbons and a blanket stitch done in pink around the top. Her hat is not attached, and can be repositioned or removed freely. The brim is stiffened to help it keep its shape, but the top is not, so that it might recover after transit.
Each hoof has a small circle of plastic glued to the bottom for stability. Vinyl Scratch has 2oz of poly pellets in each leg to help her stand, and Octavia has 1 oz in each leg (so you will notice that the legs are stuffed more firmly than the rest of the body). Vinyl is stuffed pretty firmly, and the plastic in her hooves is warped slightly in such a way that she actually finds her balance more quickly than Octavia. Octavia stuffed more gently, to make her taller, so she has a little bit of flex to her and can, for example, lean forwards or backwards a few degrees. Their arms are attached with teddy bear joints, and so can be rotated 360 degrees.
The patterns for the mane, tail, eyes, cutie marks, and clothing were made by myself, but the pattern for the body was purchased with a limited commercial license from PlushNBulbs on Etsy
