Allison tore her eyes of the vampish combatant and turned to the other side of the ring.

“And her opponent, making her third appearance in this tournament and the 2021 James Street Tournament winner, welcome please Miss Anne Carter!”

Anne put forth a warm smile to match a flexing kind of pose.   If she was intimidated she certainly wasn’t showing it.   Deep down she was focused on atoning for last years showing. She wanted to be more than a one and done champion.

She pirouetted back to her corner to await final instructions, her face turning serious once again.

“Calling the falls again will be Cynthia Matthews.   Once I leave the ring and I am on the floor you may begin. Best of luck to you both.”

Allison simply walked out the ropes, this time taking the steps rather than hopping down to the floor.”

Anne and Lilith both came to the center and began probing for an early opening.
