Im tired of Naruto, and Im really tired of Naruto fanart. If you have talent, why are you wasting it on something unoriginal, and useless in developing your skill?Yes I am aware i have Kotetsu and Izumo fanart in my gallery... By request, and for the justice of underappreciated characters only. And yes, I have a Naruto Doujinshi that i was paid to do. I am NOT Posting it here! The number of original works in my gallery by far surpass the amount of fanart posted... Ten times over.
As a matter of fact, I used to be a HUGE Naruto Fan. I have watched the whole series thus far... I loved it.. I STILL DO like it! Someone's obsessiveness partially RUINED it for me.. as did the fandom. I'm not talking about people who just appreciate it because its a good story... watch an episode, possibly cosplay here and there and move on with their lives... Im talking about Narutards. Those headband all-the-time wearing, episode/manga downloading FREAKS have to be the most annoying people on the face of this earth. They feel the need to carry on a one-sided conversation with you about the show even of you have no idea what the frick they are talking about. If every other word out of your mouth has to do with a frickin imaginary tv show, You have more issues than TV GUIDE. NINJAS ARE NOT REAL, AND YOU ARE NOT ONE.
I've had it, and I'm sick of people's original characters being bumped off of the main page for fanart of characters that are 1) ALREADY POPULAR; 2) OVERRATED 3) COPYRIGHTED BY SOMEONE ELSE 4) SOMEONE ELSE'S IDEA.

And also, at least a lot of people like Naruto. I mean, I'm not THAT of a fan. I'd rather make my own. But Masashi Kishimoto is my favorite artist and nobody messes with his art. Especially someone who's not THAT good.

I like Naruto, I have done for a long time, but it's not the most important thing in the world to me.
I dislike when people fave a piece of Naruto fanart simply because of what it is. I'll fave it if I like the art and see a person has put effort into it.
And I draw the fanart of it too, but I draw OC's a lot more. Only problem is, I dont like submitting OCs cos I know they wont be any where near as appreciated.

Okay, please don't take offense from the following comment. I'm actually sort of agreeing with you.
Okay, me, myself, I am a Naruto fan. And I of course love Naruto fanart. I also draw and write Naruto fanart. But that doesn't mean I go slapping a title on it and say "HEY WORLD THIS IS THE BEST ART EVER!" On the contrary. I suck at art, first of all. And second of all, I'm not an overly enthusiastic fan of Naruto. I mean, I like it, and I talk about it a lot, but I certainly don't go over it like that.
Now, I'm both agreeing with you and disagreeing with you. The things I'm agreeing with you I'll say first. Let's face it: a lot of Narutards are idiots. They fight immaturely over the internet over their shippings (thank God I don't ship) and then take it out on people who don't know the shippings. What's more, they convince everybody "OMG LIKE IT OR ELSE". I mean, that's just wrong. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
That said, I'll use the last line I just used in the previous paragraph. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Which means, yes, people are allowed to obsess over it. And that's where I'm disagreeing with you. I'm not claiming that you hate Naruto or everything, but you shouldn't bash people that obsess a lot over it and it's part of everything they talk about, nor should you bash Naruto fanart. In fact, a lot of Naruto fanart is brilliant. There are quite a few that are shameful, but overall a vast majority are very great. Plus to that, people are allowed to favor their own pairings. But I agree with you that they shouldn't WORSHIP said pairings.
Also, believe it or not, Naruto fanart does have some creativity. If it's just copying off a cover or a screenshot, then yes, there's no creativity value. However, there is creativity value when the character is put in a pose or a place that Kishi-sama never put them in. As well, some fanfiction has developed very interesting plotlines that Kishi-sama never put in himself. It's true it uses all the same characters, but "OC Characters" are actually creative characters as, even though they might be based off of other characters, they still are the person's own creation -- such as Tiyoko Chiree, my OC Character.
I do believe, and agree, however, that is wrong that people use improper tags on Naruto fanart, and all people focus on is Naruto fanart. I think other art should blossom. However, I disagree to completely stopping fanart. Fanart is expressing one's like to something. It's a matter of courtesy, and courtesy certainly is a virtue.
So basically, and please don't flame me for saying this, I do disagree about stopping fanart. However, I agree with you in the fact that fanart is being way too popular and creative works should be taken in account.

If I wasn't exausted from work, I would type a meaningful reply, but I don't feel like it. Frankly, I don't even care about this stamp anymore, which is why it is in my scraps. I have an original manga that requires my undivided attention. You people get so bent out of shape when you see something you don't like or dissagree with... to the point where you obsess over it. I find it amusing, and to put it bluntly, you're lecturing a brick wall. I can't tell you how many stamps there are that are "No More ...(insert my favorite whatever)" but I'm not about to waste my time trying to prove a point. Erm, no. You took my reply way too seriously. I wasn't saying you were flaming it, I was just saying that a huge end to fanart and judging anyone who makes fanart (this is not just Naruto) and calling them uncreative is really stretching it.
But anyway, I wasn't meaning to be offensive. And I am not lecturing you. You go ahead and feel however you want. I am just stating my opinion, that's all.

This is not an "Anti-Naruto" stamp, (although that's what it was named for abbreviation, that was not it's purpose) It is an Anti-Naruto Fan Art stamp. So before you get your panties all twisted, please make sure you get your facts straight.
And as a matter of fact, I happen to like Death Note, despite it's sickening fandom of ignorant weeaboos. If you had to draw 150 Naruto fan art buttons because you were required to for an artists position like I was, You might be sick and tired of it as well. Here is a suggestion-- Attend an anime convention. While you are there, be sure to check out the Artist's Alley. then, you might be able to see why Original Artists such as myself are sick and tired of fan art, especially Naruto. People use it to make money, and it should be illegal to cash in on someone else's ideas, whether it be for fame, or fortune... It's just not kosher. No, I am not bitter, but yes, I am a bit frustrated. If you had a friend that talked about nothing but Naruto and which characters are screwing whom 24 hours a day... You might understand where I am comming from a little bit better.

Agreed. I would have read your entire post and added more to this comment but I just did that on other anti-Naruto stamps where I shared my agreement. As for the people that say things like "Just because you hate it doesn't mean I am going to join it." That's like us replying or saying back with "Just because you love it doesn't mean I am going to join it." That is one of the stupidest response I have read on some of these pages of dA.

I myself have only ever dabbled in the show (the number of episodes I've seen I can count on one hand). And while I have been known to +fav Naruto fanart, and while I do have friends who are fans, I have also had my mornings ruined by logging on to dA only to see the frontpage monopolized by run-of-the-mill Naruto pics.
It's one of the reasons that I'm not complaining about the new dA 'fair exposure' system--I don't care if it's fair, it certainly is a HECK of a lot more justice than the old system that gave the entire Popular section over to Naruto art.
All in all, I applaud you for the guts to create and post this stamp. Way to take a stand!

Finally someone came out and said it. I'm so sick of only seeing Naruto fan art everywhere. Why can't people try to expand in what they draw instead of focusing on an anime/manga?
It becomes so boring and unoriginal over time, and oh so unappealing. I feel the same way about Naruto fan art towards many other animes/games/etc as well (think Death Note and Kingdom Hearts). I can understand people liking something, but if they only focus on one thing, how will that person ever be able to improve and develop their own styles?
Plus dA is becoming an eyesore with only one type of artwork being posted. :C

totally, i also admit, i do some fanarts and some OC's (which i forget a lot cuz their old) but im not like "OMYGIDDYGODNARUTOAHHHH!!!" im just a fan, but not hardcore. sure i do some naruto fanart, but i also do what i do, and whatever i do, makes my day^^ i also think that 12 year old ninjas having smex is down right werid, but hey thats just people. somehow i do feel like a hardcore fan, but im not. i do like sasuke, but i know he isnt my knight in shining armor, he's just a cool guy in the series. so what im trying to say is that i like naruto, but i also like to draw whatever comes to mind, and that makes my day.

I'm simply sick of the fan art. Naruto fan art in moderation, as well as any other fan art in moderation is good... But when you do a search for something completely unrelated.. hmmm lets say at random..."Hawaii Landscapes" or "bananas" and what pops up is Naruto fanart... It's very disheartening.

A friend of mine is a Yaoi-tard who had this great idea to commission me to do a Yaoi Naruto Doujinshi called "Come Come Iruka" Gross enough title, right?
Well, the doujin took me 2 years and she wasnt satisfied. She was never satisfied. either this was wrong, or that was wrong... She tried showing me gross Naruto fan art of yaoi and not that yaoi or shonen ai disgusts me, its the fact that THEY ARE CHILDREN that grosses me out.
12 year old children should not be having sex. and 12 year old children should DEFINITELY not be having sex with their teachers. It is the most disgusting thing ive ever seen. The Naruto Fandom ruined Naruto for me because I cant look at them without seeing Naruto and Sasuke kid kissing or having sex with each other. Even if its the Shippuden when theyre a couple years older... It is gross and should be banned.

I especially hate the teacherxstudent; wow... it just sickens me as well. But I can't say I'm totally against the whole yaoi thing and stuff. I know that it's not right for 12 year old kids to be smexing each other, but... ya know... Some of it I just laugh at.
But that's dissappointing that one of your friends didn't like what you had worked on for so long. And, the fact that they suggested you to do that "Come Come Iruka" thing... is just weird...
