Thank you, I will get the information transferred this weekend if you can keep all the details together until at minimum then.

When I saw the name I wondered if it was from the line of Thee Desperado, Thee Sequel, etc.
Love those horses!

I'll have to stalk her for a breeding once she hits her titles. XD If you ever want more Arabs, I got quite a few pretties I just bought. ;D After I adopt 2 foals, I'll be doing refs. ^^

I actually JUST requested a breeding to Prince [link] *crossing fingers*
So she'll be pregnant for a bit. I think im going to do some halter shows with her here soon though so after she has her first foal she should be open for breeding.

Ah, so you'll get a part-bred Arab out of that mix, since he's only 60 percent and a dilute. But I'm sure he makes pretty babies. :3 I have a mare who's preggo too, lol. I just have to draw her ref. XD But all of my Arabians are purebred, mostly Egyptian strains. I have tons of different lines now -bloodlines I mean- So...many choices. XD Quite a few starters I bought with great show history as well. Not particularly looking forward to linking everything. XD I think I have...20 Arabs, lol. Plus 4 Pintabians I just purchased, one a mare with a foal by her side. Ah...Can't wait to draw them all. XD

Yeah the foal will be like... 80-90% but that's enough to be called almost pure Arabian. Breed her to another pure bred Arabian and there you have it, 100% Arab again ^.^ I just love his color.
I'm mostly going to use my Arab mares to make Anglos and Arab-warmbloods. But I'm gonna keep a look out for all these Arabs you have!

XD Just give me some time to upload them and fix my to-do list on my page. It will have all their previous refs linked, so you can check them out there. ^^

How do you get the Prismacolor's to show up so well on black paper?? I have black cardstock but it sucks at capturing the pigments of the colors, so it must be because of the cardstock I'm using. It only doesn't show up on the black for some reason.
I also must ask what color you used for chestnut body, mane, and tail. It looks a lot more natural then the colors I used to use. I was eventually forced to look for a different brand to get chestnut colors. A good choice I made, but apparently it's possible to still get a chestnut with the right ones.

Hehe I actually got up out of bed for you do get the colors names. Lol okie dokie...
Black paper of any sort works fine. Usually the smoother it is, the easier the pencils blend but don't get like "shiny smooth"
I normally pick up the cheap construction paper type sheets that are very large and I cut them down to whatever size I need. The paper is thick and durable.
PrismaColors are a very soft, oily type of pencil, perfect for blending which is what you want for a realistic/semi-realistic animal coat.
First I sketch out my horse,
Then my first step is choosing the base color (in this horses case I used PC 943, Burnt Ochre). I lay it down semi-thickly and evenly until I can't see much of the black underneath and there's no streaks. I do this in sections of the horse (head, neck, shoulder, barrel, rump, legs), then I choose a shading color, usually several shades darker (in her case PC 946, Dark Brown) and shade the areas that would cast a shadow (it's ok to use reference to see where the light and shadows fall on the horse) then I go through with a white pencil and add the shine, press kind of hard where it shines the most and lighten up where the light receeds. (At this point the horse looks really choppy and multi-colored but don't fret! Here's where blending comes in) use your base coat color again and start coloring over everything again. Leaving some areas more lighter or darker until all the edges of each color are smooth, even and blended into a natural mixture. If you mess up and take too much white away or too much shadow away, just color over it again with the colors needed.
THAT is the best way I can describe it. Lol

Oh wow, you can't tell at all that dark brown was being used for the shadows! Burnt orchre is what I used to use. But it looked too chestnut and unnatural(if that makes sense hah) I don't think I even own that color anymore because now I can't find it. Probably got too short and threw it away without replacing it. What colors are used for the mane and tail? White and beige? Ginger root? It looks so different then what I use, but because of the paper I think.
I'll have to look for some smoother black paper then. The black I use does not like Prismas too much apparently. I like cardstock though, and I believe I've seen more smoother kind in the open stock section. What I got was in a 50 pack. I think I ended up giving it away anyway.

Umm for the mane.. Lol idk. I struggled with it alot. Not used to flaxen manes. I used a base of beige, white highlights, a little grey, a little dark brown and streaks of Burnt Ochre.
Yeah some paper it doesn't like. I usually go to Michael's and get the large sheets of black paper. They are sold individually. I really like construction paper type stuff but you have to press kind of hard on your pencils.
